This particular sample dates somewhere between 1997 to 2000, and is finished in what we believe to be a faded lake placid blue. The CIJ models followed the MIJ models in the 1990s, and continued the great tradition of Fender Japan craftsmanship whilst offering a diverse catalog. This example would have originally had gold plating to the hardware which has now appeared to have oxidised and
